Question: Do they live in dens?

Yes, Wildcats live in dens: usually hollows under fallen trees or piles of stones but anywhere we can find shelter. Dens are especially important when kittens are born to protect them from the cold and the risk of being killed by other animals or, sometimes, by male Wildcats who are not their father.
